The Scan Accounting Module
If scan jobs are to be billed and the calculated costs posted to the specified accounts, you need the Accounting module in the workflow. If it is not present in the workflow, no postings are made to billing accounts.

The module may occur only once in the workflow.
Useful predecessor modules
Target modules could be predecessor modules. The scan should have already been successfully saved at the destination before it is invoiced.
Can not be used with these modules
No restrictive modules.
Settings
Replace cost center with variable
The cost center can be set or replaced by the content of a variable. The content of the variable must be the cost center abbreviation (cost center), seeCost Centers .
Example: You query a cost center in a The Interview Selection ODBC Module and store the value in a variable. The variable name is specified here (e.g. Cost Center). This can be useful if the cost centers are not supplied in a user-specific manner from the Active Directory, but instead come from a database, for example.
If the variable is empty, the user's default cost center is set.
If a selected cost center does not exist in IQ4docs, it will be created automatically.
Executing Microservices
AccountingService
Activities in connection with the billing of jobs, cost centers, postings, etc. are taken care of by the AccountingService. Its log file is Logs\AccountingService.log.
